Mahadev, the creator of dance, Lord Shiva, or just the “God of all Gods,” is my inspiration as a Bharatanatyam dancer. He simply represents the Cosmic Dancer I want to become. The moon, snake, and color all connect back to my Hindu Religion, bringing light into some important aspects of my culture.
